Senior Contract Advisor

Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking a Senior Contract Advisor with significant experience in contract application for multi-disciplinary projects and services at the Fife site of a multinational oil and gas corporation. This full-time, on-site position falls within the IR35 framework. The Senior Contract Advisor will report to Maintenance Management and be responsible for developing and delivering contracting strategy and supplier relationship management, supporting strategic infrastructure investments.

The Senior Contract Advisor will manage the development of procurement strategy, execution, implementation, and control, using collaborative and innovative contract strategies to deliver commercial value. This role involves driving value within the supply chain while appreciating facility-related regulations and core procedures. The position supports the Senior Leadership team's preferred Contractor strategy, ensuring a seamless transition through the remaining phased implementation stages.

Key responsibilities include developing, executing, and implementing the agreed Contracting Strategy for Maintenance, Projects & Programs services contracts. The Senior Contract Advisor will interface with various stakeholders, including procurement, projects, maintenance, technical, operations, and contractors, aiming to maximize commercial value through contract execution. The role also involves leading management of change for new site contracts, promoting improvement through collaboration, and maintaining core procedures and documentation within the Commercial Group.

Main requirements for the role include ownership of the Contracting Strategy for contract services, acting as the focal point for Procurement throughout the contract lifecycle, leading management of change for new site contracts, and promoting improvement through networking and peer assists. Key performance indicators include delivering commercial advantage through contract strategy application, completing tenders and implementations within agreed timelines, achieving customer satisfaction regarding contract structure, and ensuring contract clarity and alignment among Business Line Contract Owners and Contracting Groups.
