The town is well-connected by rail, with direct services to Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield, and London.We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join the Council’s Legal Services team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the Council’s activities are conducted lawfully and transparently, contributing to the Council’s goal of continuous improvement in service quality, cost efficiency, and customer responsiveness.The RoleAs a Senior Contracts and Procurement Lawyer, you will support the Head of Legal Services in delivering high-quality legal advice, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You will be the Council’s lead adviser on a board range of contract and procurement matters.
