We are looking for a Senior Corporate Affairs Executive to join a purpose-driven telecommunications organisation. Based in Scotland, this role offers fully hybrid model for those who prefer remote working; however you must be based in Scotland and have a good understanding of the Scotland as a whole.The ideal person for this role would be someone who has experience of a range of communications disciplines which could include, media relations, internal communications, public affairs, digital / online, social media and social advertising, internal communications, stakeholder communications and market research. As such, we are open to applications from people who are agency, in-house or working in the government sector.The ideal candidate is someone with 3-5 years’ experience in broad communications/ corporate affairs and can demonstrate an interest, if not experience in tech or telco industries and can engage with key stakeholders.This is a well-rounded corporate communications role that will see you have exposure to proactive campaigns, reactive/issues management, purpose-driven activity helping those in need, supporting the Local Stakeholder Engagement Manager and Director of Corporate Affairs to own and deliver key elements of the Shared Rural Network communications and engagement plan.You will have:Ability to produce compelling audio visual content for use on social platformsWorking knowledge of how media work, proven record of building relationships and securing coverageExperience of event activation and/or securing speaker slots at industry eventsAbility to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholdersConfidence presenting to groupsWorking knowledge of LinkedInAbility to simplify complex messages and ensure consistency across all communications mediums and to all audiencesA strong team player with a flexible approach; happy to take on additional responsibilities as requiredSelf-motivated, with a ‘can-do’ attitudeIn return:A salary of c. £40,000 depending on experienceAnnual bonus up to 20% of annual salary25 days annual leave per annumPrivate medical coverLife assurance x4 basic salaryCritical illness coverGenerous maternity / paternity leave plus an early returner package for those interestedEveryday life challenges leave for the unpredictedGenerous pension – up to 10% employer contributionDiscounts on company productsFor more information on this exciting opportunity please contact Amy Wilson to discuss in strictest confidence.
