Client Details

Our client is a growing and well established c. �65 million turnover family run business. You will be based from the state of the art office in Newark, which has fabulous facilities including a coffee shop and gym.

Description

You will working as part of the finance team of 10 and will report into the Financial Controller. You will be responsible for leading the company's credit control function. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Managing, training and supporting 1 Credit Controller
  • Liaising with customers via phone, meetings and email to follow up on outstanding debt and queries
  • Setting DSO, aged debt and query targets
  • Reporting on DSO, aged debt and queries
  • Assisting with customer credit checks
  • Updating monthly aged debtor reports
  • Updating the weekly cash collection reports and tracking progress against targets
  • Liaising with the sales team and updating them on actual and estimate customer payment dates
  • Documenting and standardising the credit control process
  • Identifying and implementing improvements within credit control
  • Reconciling customer accounts
  • Ensuring customer receipts, remittances and refunds are processed

Profile

To apply for this position you do not need experience of managing or supervising others, but this would be beneficial. However you must:

  • Have solid experience of working in credit control and order to cash
  • Have strong communication skills and the confidence to deal with individuals at varying levels
  • Have excellent customer service skills

Job Offer

This is a permanent position, which is offering:

  • �28,000 - �35,000 (dependent upon experience)
