Senior Credit Manager - Commercial Lending

Our client is an established, award-winning UK Bank who are currently in growth mode. They have built a great reputation in the market and are focused on delivering a sustainable, customer-focused and innovative bank that supports and champions the financial health of UK businesses. Due to a promotion in the team, we now have an exciting opportunity to join them as a Senior Credit Manager which will involve deputising for the Head of Credit when necessary and includes managing and mentoring a small team as well as day-to-day underwriting duties on the larger and more complex deals with a personal mandate of £1M. Requirements of the Senior Credit Manager:Previous experience in Credit Underwriting specifically within the Commercial Lending arena, we are happy to consider people from Invoice Finance, ABL, Property Finance, Business and Commercial Banking, Loans or Asset Finance.Excellent credit assessment and report writing skills - ability to carry out due-diligence on credits and write a credit report for presentation to sanctioning authoritiesStrong financial, analytical and numerical skillsStrong communication and organisation skills - understanding of the credit risk drivers for each proposalStrong time-management abilities - ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple prioritiesAttention to detail and accountable - demonstrates strong deal ownershipWillingness, aptitude and gravitas to be a key member of a growing businessTeam player with self-motivation and driveWhy Should You Apply?Highly competitive basic salary + bonusFuture opportunities to develop with the businessReputable and established business with a great family-like, supportive culture
