The Role:

As the Senior Cyber Security Consultant, you will be responsible for leading comprehensive cybersecurity reviews and audits across our portfolio companies. You will assess their security posture, compliance requirements, and identify cyber gaps, developing actionable remediation strategies.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading annual cybersecurity reviews and audits, assessing the current state of security controls and frameworks.
• Conducting gap analysis and developing strategic action plans to address vulnerabilities.
• Collaborating with C-level stakeholders (CTOs, CISOs) at portfolio companies to ensure cybersecurity strategies align with business objectives.
• Presenting detailed findings and recommendations to portfolio company leadership and driving execution of remediation plans.
• Managing security assessments as part of the firm's value creation team, responsible for ensuring cybersecurity best practices across the entire portfolio.
• Assisting with pre-investment due diligence when required, providing insights into cybersecurity risks for potential acquisitions.

About You:

• Proven experience in cybersecurity consulting, with expertise in conducting security reviews, gap analysis, and developing strategic remediation plans.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and industry regulations.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to senior stakeholders and create actionable plans.
• Experience working with financial services, wealth management, or technology-enabled companies is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where projects vary from small assessments to major due diligence efforts.
