Senior Data Architect | Banking | 2 days per week required in Central London | up to £115k base + other benefits
A large bank (one of the “big four”) are looking for a Senior Data Architect to join them in their Central London office. This role falls within a cross functional product engineering team within the experiences platform. As a Senior Data Architect your responsibilities will be delivering the top grade data capability, drawing upon your engineering expertise, whilst the ideal candidate will have good knowledge or previous experience within the cloud (there main cloud is GCP)
The Senior Data Architect should bring as much experience with the following:
Extensive experience within data architecture, data modelling, and real-time data streaming.
Strong proficiency in data modelling techniques and tools.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
Strong understanding of data mesh principles and product mindset in data management.
In-depth knowledge of data security practices and compliance requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about data architecture.
Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The package is paying up to £115,00 base + other benefits. This role does require 2 days per week in their central London office. Unfortunately our client are not able to sponsor, so all candidates must have full eligibility to work without the need for sponsorship.
