Job Description for Data EngineerWork Location: London / Birmingham, UKLooking for a Data Engineers to analyse large amounts of raw information to find patterns and datamigration that will help improve business goals. We will rely on you to build data products to extractvaluable business insights. Your goal will be to help our company analyse trends to make better decision. Roles and Responsibilities: Analyse and organize raw data Build data systems, pipelines, and data products. Evaluate business needs and objectives Interpret trends and patterns Conduct complex data analysis and report on results Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modelling Build algorithms and prototypes Combine raw information from different sources Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability Identify opportunities for data acquisition Develop analytical tools and programs Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects Automate Tasks Create Models and Identify Patterns Key Skills: Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role Technical expertise with data models, data mining, data migration, Data warehousing andsegmentation techniques (GCP). Big query, big tables and Compute engine in GCP. Knowledge of programming languages Python, R, and java. Machine learning will be added advantage. Hands-on experience with SQL database design Great numerical and analytical skills Data engineering certification is a plus Analytical mind and business expertise. Problem-solving aptitude Good in Excel reporting (Advance)/ Power BI/Qlik Sense/ GCP platform expertise. Strong SQL skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills. Attention to detail
