Primarily remote working, with 2 days per month on site. This will be a great chance to join a small tech team as the sole Data Engineer and get hands on with some cutting-edge tech. The company is considered as a scale-up and they’re seeking an GCP Data Engineer to come in and enhance their Data Architecture, pipelines and systems. What will this role look like?- Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and robust data architectures. This involves creating 3NF and dimensional data models, designing and developing robust batch processing pipelines, and working with the operational and analytical teams to solve complex business problems.- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement changes to improve data processing and pipeline/systems performance.Which of your skills will be used?-Expertise in GCP products are essential. -Strong proficiency in SQL and Python. -Knowledge of Data warehousing technologies and concepts. -Maintaining the GCP infrastructure using Terraform. -Employing CI/CD pipelines to bolster code integrity and streamline deployment, reflecting a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.-GitHub for source control. -Excellent communication skills.
