They operate from their home in the heart of Newcastle City Centre, where they are building a team of exceptional people in an intellectually stimulating environment.ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding of client’s front office needs, allowing scoping of new data needs.Interrogation of a variety of data platforms.Excellent skills in analysing and implementation of data automation tasks and processes.Experience in reviewing of data quality monitoring metrics and data rule creation.Knowledge of building out the data platform using in-house and vendor data tools.Ownership of technical products and projects – their engineers actively engage with a wide range of business functions to leverage their knowledge and exposure.Challenging current systems and processes to achieve common goals through technical excellence and innovation.Having an impact from day one – they empower and trust their developers to leverage their skillsets.What Makes a Great CandidateExperience in a data specialist role.High proficiency in both SQL and Python.Ability to prioritise work efficiently.Ability to produce high quality analysis of large data sets.A strong enthusiasm for programming and technology with an appetite to work in a dynamic and integrated team.A desire to understand and solve business problems, build domain knowledge, and increase market understanding.Financial Services experience is a bonus, but not essential.A minimum 2.1 degree in Computer Science or a related field, ideally from a Russell Group University.Their CultureAs a newly established business, joining them at this stage offers the exciting opportunity to help define their culture.
