We are seeking a talented Senior NLP Engineer with a focus on NLP to drive our research and innovation to the next level.About Us:My client are a pioneering biotech start-up at the forefront of neuroscience research, dedicated to developing innovative solutions for mental health challenges. You will join a interdisciplinary team collaborating to explore the intricacies of the brain and create data-driven approaches utilising NLP to revolutionize treatments and interventions.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of Data Scientists and healthcare data analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and support in their professional development and project execution.Work closely with the Senior Leadership team to plan the AI Team’s development roadmap.Work collaboratively with the Research Team to ensure that the data structuring models can best serve research applications.Qualifications:Masters/PHD level degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Neuroscience, or a related field.High level of knowledge of NLP techniques, including experience applying Large Language Models (LLM) for text processing.Proficient in PythonHigh level of knowledge of machine learning methodsExperience as a team leader, mentor or supervisor, with a desire to help grow a team of Data Scientists through line management and technical leadership.The Package:💰£55,000-£65,000📍Oxford (hybrid) 2 times a week onsite🌴25 days holiday + Bank Holidays🏥Health insurance plan📈Annual salary reviews and defined career roadmap💻Training and Development Opportunities (internal & external)🪙Company Pension Scheme (6% total)If you are enthusiastic about leveraging Natural Language Processing to drive advancements in neuroscience and mental health and want to contribute to a transformative mission, we encourage you to apply!
