Senior Data Scientist - London - Up to £120,000 - HybridI am currently working with a Leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to help deliver a Data Transformation project and enhance the Data Science capability of the business. This position is paying up to £120,000 and would be based in the office 2/3 days per week.Duties and Accountabilities Leads the data science projects of the business.Using Data Science techniques to automate manual tasks across the business.Work alongside actuarial team to perform data mining to produce extra insights to be available to underwriters to improve profitability.Data cleansing.Work with the Data Science Manager to define the strategic data requirements for delivery of data consumption use cases.Work with data scientists and actuaries to research, identify, cleanse, analyse, visualise and draw insights from external data sources.Work with the Data Science Manager in supporting the business with proactive analytics and insights.Required Skills and Experience Excellent Data Science background within the Insurance industry, ideally with a Lloyd's Syndicate.Solid experience with Python.Machine Learning Algorithms and Standard Libraries experience e.g. Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib.Experience with Cloud Computing ideally MS Azure.Database Management and SQL experience.Experience with PowerBI for Data Visualisation.Excellent Stakeholder Management.Strong written and spoken communication skills.If you would be interested in discussing this opportunity further then please apply now!
