Senior Design Engineer

Job Title: Senior Design Engineer (Electrical)

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead complex electrical system design projects from concept to completion

- Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications

- Perform electrical load calculations and sizing of components

- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical solutions to design challenges

- Mentor junior engineers and review their work

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and manufacturing

- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations

- Participate in design reviews and client meetings

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

- 8+ years of experience in electrical design engineering

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN)

- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC)

- Experience with power distribution systems, control circuits, and instrumentation

- Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems

- Project management skills and experience leading technical teams

Technical Skills:

- Power system analysis and design

- Circuit protection and coordination studies

- EMC/EMI analysis and mitigation

- Knowledge of various voltage levels (LV, MV, HV)

- Familiarity with renewable energy systems is a plus

Soft Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Additional Qualifications:

- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred

- Experience in specific industries (e.g., manufacturing, oil & gas, aerospace) may be required

- Knowledge of relevant software tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM Power Tools)
