Are you a Design Engineer/Draughtsperson with experience designing jet engines, looking to take the next step in their career in a position of high responsibility and autonomy?
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior position and be recognized as a technical within the aerospace field, working on exciting and specialist projects.
This specialist design consultancy is a key player within the aerospace industry, and due to plans for expansion are looking to bring in an experienced Design Engineer to aid drive growth. On site is a close-knit design team, with the company's head office being based in the US.
In this role, you will complete drawings on interesting and challenging components, oversee the work of other members of the team, and manage the priority list of existing projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, as well as passing knowledge on to junior members of the team.
The ideal candidate will have strong design engineering experience, with good experience working on jet engine design projects. You will also have an understanding of the gas turbine industry, and experience using NX or Unigraphics CAD software.

• Strong involvement in the design and drafting process
• Manage priority list projects
• Support junior members of the team
• Site-based with Hybrid working available
• Flexible working hours available

The Person

• 3+ years of experience working on the design of jet engines
• Experience working on NX / Unigraphics CAD software
• 15+ years of experience in design engineering
• Experience with GD&T is desirable but not essential
