- 3D CAD models using SolidWorks.
- 2D critical dimension drawings with appropriate use of GD&T.
- Early-stage static simulation (Finite Element Analysis) to support design decisions.
- 2D and 3D prototypes using both internal and external resources.
- Communicate effectively with your team and across the company, ensuring clear and concise information sharing.
- Collaborate with the broader design team to agree on mechanical, aesthetic, and ergonomic approaches, and deliver solutions using the most relevant manufacturing technologies, always keeping the customer at the forefront.
- Create and maintain bills of materials.
- Develop briefs, specifications, and design verification plans based on project requirements.
Collaboration Areas:
- Work closely with Structural and Reliability Engineers to validate FEA results in line with company standards.
