Senior Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join a Engineering and Design team in South Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing and leading engineering design projects.

Description

• Coordinate engineering projects from concept to completion
• Develop and implement engineering strategies
• Conducting project reviews and inspections to quality standards
• Cooperate with cross functional teams and stakeholders
  

Profile

• A degree in Engineering or related field
  
• Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
  
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
  
• Excellent project management skills
  
• Experience of a 3D CAD package such as SolidWorks / Inventor is an advantage
  
• Working knowledge of MathCAD would be beneficial, as would a knowledge of Finite Element Analysis Sound knowledge of engineering principles and best practices
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
