Job Description: They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design and development of their new build care home projects, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design process for new build care home projects from inception to completion.


• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design specifications are met.


• Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.


• Oversee the preparation and review of design drawings, plans, and specifications.


• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.


• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.


• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design integrity is maintained.


• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and incorporate their feedback into the design process.


• Continuously seek innovative solutions and improvements in design to enhance the quality and efficiency of our projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.


• A minimum of 10 years' experience in design management, preferably within the care home or later living sectors.


• Strong knowledge of building regulations and standards.


• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple design projects simultaneously.


• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.


• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage external stakeholders.


• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
