Senior Design Manager

We are seeking a Senior Design Manager experienced in Structural Steel, with a focus on technical proficiency and strong communication skills. This role entails collaborating within diverse design teams and overseeing various project aspects:
- Managing day-to-day design operations to support Engineers in technical design tasks.

- Coordinating specialized inputs from Arup (fire, facades, acoustics, security, assurance) into the overall design.

- Providing leadership for addressing technical inquiries and subcontractor submissions.

- Monitoring project parameters such as brief, schedule, budget, modifications, and contracts.

- Acting as the primary liaison between the design team and the client.
This is a permanent role based in the Darlington area.
