Senior Desktop Support SME - 3 month Contract to Permanent - Inside IR35 £300 - £400 per day
An experienced Desktop Support Engineer is required for a leading, London Market Insurer, based in the City of London. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, a great opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career into infrastructure support. You will be joining a high performing team, in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally candidates would need to come from a financial services background
Role:
- Providing mainly 1st - 2nd line support, with elements of 3rd line.
- SME providing core expertise to the rest of the team.
- Act as an escalation point for complex issues
- Work closely with specialist engineering teams, providing timely information to help resolve complex issues
- Supporting and troubleshooting all daily used communication tools such as Teams, WebEx, O365, AV and Telephone
- Mobile device management MDN & MAM
- General IT administration activities including joiners, movers and leavers process
Skills & Experience
- Experience desktop supporting/IT supporting for a financial service or insurance company.
- Good knowledge of O365, Windows 10, MS Office, AD and Exchange Online
- Experience and knowledge with TeamViewer, MimeCast. Scripting knowledge would be desirable
- Strong understanding and knowledge of DHGCP, DNS and Group policy
