Bespak are looking for a Senior Development Engineer for the Kings Lynn site . The salary for this permanent role is between £50k and £58k (plus an annual discretionary bonus) dependant on your skills, experience, and qualifications . Our generous benefits package includes 28 days leave plus bank holidays, 8% company pension contribution to employees 3%, onsite parking and medical / dental / health / life insurance. We offer a relocation package of up to £8,000 for relocation expenses in line with the government guidelines.
Working Pattern We are flexible Work 7.5 hours + 30 mins lunch break, between 8 and 5, this could be 8am to 4pm / 9am to 5pm or a variation of this. This role requires you to be onsite 4 days with 1 day working from home.

As a Senior Development Engineer, you will lead technical project assignments and the development of combination products, drug delivery devices, and their components. You will provide technical leadership to ensure products meet defined performance, quality, and regulatory standards. Your role will also involve collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Your role will include staying up to date with industry regulations and quality requirements, reviewing and refining product designs, and contributing to the development of intellectual property.

We are interested in people who are logical thinkers with a mechanical engineering mindset who have experience of commercial scale up and late-stage development with CAD and statistical analysis skills. As a Senior Development Engineer your duties will include:
Leading technical projects, managing timelines, costs, and resources.
Designing and developing drug delivery devices and components, meeting quality and cost targets.
Providing technical leadership and guidance to other engineers.
Ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.
Collaborating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Continuously improving skills and staying ahead of market developments.
Senior Development Engineer key skills and experience:
Degree in Engineering or Science (Mechanical, Production, or Product Design preferred).
Experience in a design and development setting.
Experience in delivering precision products to manufacturing.
Project management experience and 3D CAD understanding.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
