Senior Development TechnologistCambridgeshire£35,000 - £40,000Opportunity as a Senior Development Technologist to join an innovative food-led business in a customer-facing role.Here you’ll be working on both year-round and seasonal product launches for leading retail customers. It’s a hands-on NPD role with a focus on concept development. You’ll report into the NPD Manager and work closely with your Process Technologist and Development Chef colleagues.As a team, you’ll be responsible for delivering successful NPD and EPD projects following the stage and gate process. You’ll focus on researching the latest trends to identify opportunities in the market. You’ll support with recipe creation and be involved in sourcing ingredients and packaging. You’ll ensure all recipes are fully costed with the correct nutritional data.This Senior Development Technologist role is customer facing, building a strong relationship to be recognised as the leading supplier in your category. So, you’ll need to be super-passionate and knowledgeable about all things food-related, with a keen eye on trends and competitor activity. Able to deliver inspiring product presentations and new concepts that wow consumers.You’ll be supported by a talented and experienced NPD team across the business. They have a great track record in people development, and you’ll have a clear progression plan with training and support.
