Role Overview We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing development team who will contribute to the continued success of our products and technical solutions. You will design, develop and in some cases own the automated deployment, maintenance and monitoring of our SaaS products, using your experience to achieve this within optimal cost. Working with Technical Architects and Information Security, you will design and implement robust procedures for deployment to internal and external environments to minimise downtime and proactively address information security risks through principles of shared responsibility across Amazon Web Services (AWS). What you will be doing Be a key contributor in providing a continuous delivery strategy Create, maintain and optimise infrastructure as code across AWS. Work with Technical Architects to provide recommendations to improve product architecture Implement continuous integration, deployment and application monitoring through collaboration with the product, security and infrastructure teams Implement processes to support the availability of appropriate pre and production environments for team members including Developers, QA Professionals and DBAs Support and improve our monitoring tools to provide early visibility to the business of (1) Compliance to performance, availability, incident SLA's; (2) scaling decision making around addition resources; (3) escalation of critical events (from security to performance and capacity management) Responsible for creating optimised and scalable containerised environments Requirements Two or more years' experience provisioning, operating, and managing high availability clustered environments across AWS. A deep background in Linux systems administration and security engineering practices across the entire SDLC, coupled with extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining secure Linux-based Docker containers and images. Experience with developing or maintaining applications written for AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, RDS, etc) is essential for the role Experience of building and deploying securely to cloud platforms utilising private networking structures, policies, rules and auditing Practical experience working with continuous integration technologies Proficiency in relevant programming languages (Python, Ruby, PowerShell, C#) Comfortable working on a pre-existing cloud generation framework, creating or upgrading abstract modules Ability to develop agnostic generative framework and plugin to various cloud providers in a generative fashion is desirable Proficiency in Docker, ECS/EKS/Kubernetes and container CI/CD pipelines Good understanding of Networking, Routing, IPSec Tunnelling, Security Ports, Firewalls, Egress/Ingress, IAM Proficient in working with Certificates, Ciphers and Encryption Ability to identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on cloud platforms Expert knowledge of administering Linux or Windows systems at the command-line level Working knowledge of Agile techniques such as SCRUM Benefits Hybrid working - 1-2 days a week in the London office Wellbeing: Sanctus Coaching, Virtual fitness sessions, Wellbeing webinars, Annual Wellbeing day Subsidised Gym Membership Private Medical Insurance (including Dental and Vision) and Life Assurance 25 days holiday (increasing to 30 days at a rate of 1 extra day per year) Summer Fridays (half-day Fridays for the months of July and August) Employer pension contribution of 5% of your gross salary, if you contribute a minimum of 3% Season ticket Loan Cycle to Work Scheme Annual Discretionary Bonus Eligible for Transaction Bonus 'Here at Orgvue we promote individualism and a diverse workforce to build on our future success' #J-18808-Ljbffr
