As a Senior Director, Consulting in our Customer Engagement Strategy and Execution Practice you will serve as a critical member of the internal leadership team and play a leading and vital role on client engagements and firm initiatives. You will work (or partner with fellow practice leaders) to sell and deliver client engagements across our life sciences consulting practice offerings, with particular focus and specialism in Customer Engagement Strategy and Execution Leveraging your ability to generate project revenue and actively manage key account relationships, you will be responsible for growing the consulting practice by generating new business and building trusted advisory relationships with key stakeholders. You will be expected to interact with senior client executives to identify and sell sizeable consulting projects and lead internal teams in delivering the work, as part of our “seller-doer” model. In addition, you will share in the responsibility of managing the business and staff, while creating their own intellectual capital.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments15+ years of combined experience in management consulting, of which at least 5 years have been as a senior client facing management consultant.Specialization in Commercial Strategy and Execution, including but not limited to Brand Launch Strategy and Support (incl Program Management and Brand Performance Tracking), Integrated Patient Journey, Customer and Influence Network Mapping, Customer Engagement / Go To Market Model Design and Execution, Customer Profiling, Segmentation and Targeting, Promotional Mix Optimisation, Customer Digital / Omnichannel Engagement and Digital MessagingThe ability to generate at least $3M in annual single count revenue by maintaining existing clients and actively opening new accountsExtensive project management experience across small-medium-large sized project/case teams, and a range of project scopes and sizes (i.e., $100K to $1M+)Strong working knowledge of at least 2 to 3 high-interest therapy areas such as rare diseases, oncology, neurology, diabetes, auto-immune disease and metabolismMasters degree in a life science, engineering or business-related fieldIt would be great if you also had . . .MPH/MBA/PhD from a top-tier US or European universityExtensive rolodex with a minimum of 75+ client relationshipsWhat you will be doing in this role?Generate project revenue and actively manage key account relationshipsSupport project planning and execution by overseeing project managers to ensure quality delivery on client commitments, needs and objectives.Manage project cost structure and margin when needed.
