Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior .NET Engineer you will deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code, ensuring effective software architecture and optimised performance. You will lead projects, provide accurate estimations, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to align technical and business objectives. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers, implement process improvements, and drive innovation by introducing new technologies and methodologies. Overall, your impact includes delivering robust software solutions, enhancing team capabilities, and contributing to MHRs overall strategic goals.
Collaborate in Agile Team:
Work as part of an Agile team, developing high-quality software that meets business requirements and satisfies quality, performance, and security standards.
Conduct Research and Attend Events:
Undertake research as required and attend conferences and events, documenting afterwards to extend the team’s knowledge.
Support and Debug Software:
Support software and diagnose problems with code that may have been written by others.
Provide Technical Advice and Training:
Advise on technical solutions, and get involved in the delivery or receipt of training.
Document Decisions and Progress:
Document decisions and progress in line with corporate and team project management.
Estimate and Lead Projects:
Provide accurate estimates and commitments for delivery of work, leading projects if necessary.
Perform SDLC Tasks:
Undertake any other tasks typically associated with the Software Development Lifecycle
Key Skills
Microsoft technology stack: C# .NET 4.5, VS2013, TFS2012.
Ability to mentor junior members of staff.
In-depth understanding of complex software engineering principles: design patterns, domain driven design, SOLID principles, polymorphism, generics, queuing, distributed systems, threading and transactions.
Ability to write beautiful code that scales
Microsoft Windows Azure, ASP .NET Web API, TDD, SQL Server, LINQ, WCF, nHibernate, nUnit, Moq, Castle Windsor.
