Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: �35k-�38k + benefits

Full-time, permanent role

We're looking for an experienced Ecologist to lead projects and mentor junior staff in a well-established consultancy with over 35 years of experience.

Senior Ecologist Role:

• Lead botanical and protected species surveys (GCN, Bats, Badgers, Dormice, Reptiles)
• Manage projects from start to finish, liaising with clients and statutory bodies
• Produce reports (Ecological Assessments, EIAs)
• Mentor junior staff and work with DEFRA Metrics

Senior Ecologist Requirements:

• Strong botanical skills (UKHab/NVC)
• Experience in protected species surveys (Protected Species Licences)
• Project management experience
• Full UK driving licence
