Central Employment are working with a leading global leading, specialist B2C organisation based in the North of England who is looking for a talented and experienced Senior eCommerce Manager to join their team.Role and responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive sales and growth across Marketplaces and Direct-to-Consumer websites.Oversee and optimize paid advertising campaigns on Amazon, Google, and meta platforms to increase traffic, conversion rates, and overall return on investment (ROI).Collaborate with the marketing team to align e-commerce strategies with overall marketing initiatives and promotions.Take a hands-on approach to website development, ensuring that Direct-to-Consumer websites are user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for maximum performance.Implement best practices in website design, navigation, and user experience to enhance customer engagement and boost sales.Conduct regular website audits to identify opportunities for improvement and implement necessary changes to drive website performance.Demonstrate expertise in working with e-commerce platforms such as Mintsoft and BigCommerce, ensuring smooth operations and optimal utilization of these platforms to drive growth.Sound working knowledge of other e-commerce tools such as Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Sem Rush, Glew etc.Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Java Script.Possess a solid grasp of SEO principles and the capability to actively engage in their implementation as the team continues to expand.Experience required: Strong background in managing paid ads across Amazon, Google, and meta platforms, with a track record of achieving positive ROI.Proven experience in e-commerce management with a focus on Amazon and Direct-to-Consumer websites.Experience with website development and optimization, with proficiency in e-commerce platforms such as BigCommerce.Familiarity with social media advertising strategies and performance tracking.Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for developing and motivating a high-performing team.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.Willingness to be hands-on when necessary while possessing the vision and ability to lead a growing e-commerce team.
