Role and Responsibilities:
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in their London office, contributing to high-profile projects and leading the design and implementation of electrical systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading the design and specification of electrical systems for various building types, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Managing and mentoring junior engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet client requirements.
* Conducting site inspections and surveys to inform design decisions and ensure project quality.
* Preparing detailed technical reports, calculations, and documentation.
* Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
* Staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Professional registration (CEng or equivalent) is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in electrical design within the building services sector.
* Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design tools.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
