Senior Electrical Engineer (Product Safety)

Our prestigious worldwide engineering client has an exciting opening for a Senior Engineer (Electrical) within Product Safety Testing/CE Marking.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Carrying out electrical safety testing and design assessments at customer sites.


• Identification of compliance requirements and strategies.


• Compilation of summaries and reports in support of testing and certification activities

Essential Criteria

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic engineering.


• Electrical safety testing experience, with knowledge of CE marking.


• Good understanding of the IEC Operational documents including CTF process and Technical Committees.


• Good understanding and hands-on experience of electrical/electronic circuits.


• IT skills using MS office suite of programs.


• Confident with good interpersonal skills and a commitment to getting the job done.


• Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.


• Willing to work off-site at clients’ premises and occasional overseas trips.


• Hold a full driving licence.


• Ability to work an ad hoc shift pattern to meet customers deadlines.
