Are you a degree qualified Electrical Project Engineer who is keen to progress into Project Management?

An industry leading MEP Building Services Contractor headquartered in Central London are on the search for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to play a key role in the development of a of flagship commercial project In Central London valued circa �45 million MEP value.

My client is renowned for delivering some of the most advanced engineering led installations in London and Europe in the Commercial, critical services, banking & hotel and leisure project sectors, dominating the market for the past 30 years.

With exceptional business growth, my client is taking on even larger projects year by year with blue chip clients across the UK and with this project success, they are looking for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer who is looking to step into a Project Management role, reporting to the Project Director acting as his right hand man, shadowing him and becoming a fully-fledged project manager by the time the project is complete.

As they are aiming to attract the top talent in London, this role offers a salary up to �95,000 plus package. However, depending on the candidate and their Project Management skills, this role could pay up to six figures.
Responsibilities/ Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years in a Mechanical Project engineering role
  • Responsible for all mechanical packages from heavy mechanical infrastructure through to the bespoke mechanical fit out.
  • Experience managing sub-contractor teams.
  • Essential that the candidate has taken multiple schemes valued upwards of �40 million MEP from pre-construction through to handover.
  • Reporting the Project Lead.
  • Issuing progress reports.
  • Collaborating with the design, estimating, surveying and procurement departments.
  • Collating RAMS, O&M's & RFI's for Project Lead to issue.
  • Liaise with the client & stakeholders.
  • Preparation, submission, and agreement of variations.
  • Manage and build on client relations.
  • Client facing/ professional.
  • Provide technical assistant to operations team & troubleshooting.
  • Ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met completing mechanical components and projects and writing up reports.
  • Procuring and managing all mechanical packages and materials.
  • Strong Pre-construction experience in the PCSA stage.
  • Ensuring health & safety is always adhered to a high standard.
  • Coordinating Sub-contractors & specialist Sub-contractors.
  • Attend and participate in design, consultant, team and client meetings.
  • Ensuring that the project has been delivered within correct time constraints and budgets.

Remuneration Package

  • Industry leading and negotiated basic salary (dependent on previous experience/ track record).
