Position: Senior Embedded Software EngineerSalary: up to £70,000 + Bonus + BenefitsLocation of Office: CoventryThe Role: A new a role has just been created for a lead embedded engineer to join our clients growing engineering team in a technically hands on lead engineer role. Our client is now moving to generation 2 of their products and looking for someone to lead the improvements and upgrades of their embedded software using robust embedded firmware to meet product design objectives.In this role you will be reporting directly to the Engineering manager and you will be tasked with owning the firmware development process, the creation of firmware requirements specifications, implementing industry standards, co-ordinating design reviews and collaborating with the test and validation team.Skills and Experience Required:Embedded C/C++ programmingUML ModellingSTM32 ChipsetKeil IDERF technologies – LoRa or similarDesirable Skills and Experience:IOT based protocols – GSM-AT, MQTT, Azure IOT CloudTechnical lead experienceAgile development – JIRA, GitHub etcThis role will best suit a senior embedded engineer who has strong industry experience in successfully delivering embedded solutions and take a lead role in technical and project decisions.
