Senior Embedded Software Engineer

La Fosse is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be a pivotal member of the Cross-Functional team that drives vision systems from concept to manufacture. You will be working on new technologies within the new product team and solve solutions for customers.Within this position, you will:Design, implement, and maintain software within the R&D/new product development teamCreate innovative technical concepts and solutions to solve customers needs or to meet internal design requirementsRoot cause analysis and resolution of complex multi-domain issues of prototype systemsBe a key member of the team, leading specific activities and swimlanesYour skills and experience include:Strong experience of commercial software engineering in C++Experience of working within a new product development or R&D environment, can either be a device driver level or middleware layerWe are searching for someone who is:Willing to tackle new projects and deliver results on time to required standardsWilling to take the lead on projects, has a continuous improvement mindset, and open to sharing their thoughts and ideasA hands on engineer, someone who enjoys working in the lab, with other engineers/disciplinesA fast learner is required, someone who is seeking professional development and a career within R&D
