Senior Engineer - Main Contractor/Developer

We currently have an exciting opening with an award winning Main Contractor/Developer for a Senior Engineer based in West London.
This a fantastic opportunity for a senior engineer to make their mark on a landmark development, and take the reigns on planning and handover of shell and core, civils, and infrastructure elements of the project.
This position will have guaranteed long term work in West London, with the chance to work for a reputable business, with career progression and stability. 
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage contractors programme, design etc.

• Attending design co-ordination meetings with design team and consultants. Review design drawings for constructability.

• Maintain quality assurance 

• Inspect construction work for compliance with drawings, specification, and codes.

• Provide responses to Request for Information, Non-Conformance Reports and coordinate with consultant.

• Arrange and record NHBC & Building control site visits.

• Prepare daily progress reports, periodic photographic progress reports and keep supervisors informed on progress of assigned tasks.

• Provide field based technical input into construction activities.

• Coordinate with Temporary works consultants in related with Temporary works design and update register.

• Check and issue permits such as, permit to load, dig, strike, hot works etc.

• Reports daily on the project safety, environment and quality issues, progress, technical decisions, changes, manpower and equipment presence and use, significant deliveries and other significant events on site to relevant Managers.

• Manage SES in relation to Setting out and Site Surveys.

• Providing oversight and guidance to site engineers.

• Reviewing submittals and payment interims for the work related to their field with QS.
Requirements
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering or similar

• CSCS, SMSTS, First aid, Temporary works

• 3 years minimum post qualification, on site experience
