As we continue to grow and expand our portfolio, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Engineer/Engineering Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in our ongoing success.As a Engineer/Senior Engineer, you will lead the engineering team in the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects associated with residential developments. From initial concept through to completion, you will oversee the engineering aspects of our projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining high-quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced engineering professional to take on a key leadership role within a dynamic and growing organisation.Key Responsibilities:Lead the engineering team in the design and delivery of infrastructure projects for residential developments, including roads, drainage, utilities, and landscaping.Provide technical expertise and guidance on engineering matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure project objectives are met.Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to achieve project milestones and deliverables.Conduct site inspections, assessments, and surveys as required, identifying risks and proposing solutions to mitigate them.Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.Maintain accurate project documentation and records, including design drawings, specifications, and reports.Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering and construction.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Chartered status (CEng) is highly desirable.Proven experience in a senior engineering role within the residential construction industry, with a strong track record of delivering infrastructure projects.Thorough understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice governing civil engineering and construction.Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage budgets effectively.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members towards achieving common goals.A collaborative and adaptable mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites within Lancashire and the surrounding areas.Benefits:£40,000 - £65,000 Basic (Depending on Experience).Company pension scheme.Private health careOpportunities for career progression and professional development.Supportive and inclusive work environment
