Senior Engineers Required for Harker Substation Project in Carlisle, Cumbria

We are looking for experienced Senior Engineers to join the team for a major project at the Harker Substation in Carlisle, Cumbria. This role requires seasoned professionals with a robust background in construction site operations, particularly in reinforced concrete works, groundworks, and steel frame building projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination: Lead and oversee the activities of site and section engineers to ensure high standards and adherence to project specifications.


• Temporary Works Coordination: Manage and coordinate all aspects of temporary works on-site, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory standards.


• Lifting Operations: Preferably, candidates will have prior experience with lifting operations, including supervising and coordinating safe lifting practices to ensure the smooth execution of construction tasks.


• Quality and Compliance: Enforce quality control procedures to guarantee all structural elements meet required standards and compliance measures, while proactively identifying and resolving issues.


• Stakeholder Communication: Engage effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to maintain the project timeline, quality, and safety.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Extensive experience in reinforced concrete, groundworks, and steel structures.


• Proven experience with Temporary Works Coordination.


• Strong leadership abilities, capable of managing and guiding site and section engineers.


• Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and quality assurance.
