The organisation has a track record of successful operation across major capital work projects focusing on the gas utilities sector and are continuing to grow rapidly.Responsibilities for the Senior Environment Advisor will include:Ensuring the delivery of the environmental policy, and compliance with legislation and regulations across a wide range of projects.Carrying out site inspections and audits, undertake preliminary environmental assessments and provide environmental training where requiredActing as the main point of contact for the environmental sustainability program with key stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulatorsProvide support in carbon measurement carbon reduction opportunitiesThe successful Senior Environment Advisor will have:Proven experience in a similar role ideally within utilities, construction, infrastructure or wider built environmentIdeally a degree in a relevant Environmental related subject or hold a relevant professional e.g. IEMAExperience with Environmental management systems e.g., ISO14001, waste management plans and ideally carbon and energy reportingExcellent verbal and written communication skills, and ideally experience working closely with stakeholdersContact Jessica Rowe on 01923 432 693.
