We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Environment, Health & Safety Manager to join a leading global renewable technology company based in the UK with a significant pipeline of projects and orders globally.The CompanyYou would be working for a leading global technology company with a strong focus on providing innovative and sustainable energy solutions. Its diverse portfolio prioritises energy efficiency and environmental responsibility, shaping a brighter, sustainable future for communities worldwide.The RoleYou will facilitate effective EHS programs ensuring regulatory compliance and reducing unwanted events like injuries, illnesses, and environmental releases. You will be fully responsible for site EHS program, training, and culture. You will manage personnel remotely, you will travel across diverse sites in the UK and Europe.Role ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain EHS programs consistent with the company framework.Implement site-specific EHS programs (emergency preparedness, fire protection, electrical safety, etc.).Collaborate with site managers to identify operational risks and ensure secure procedures.Manage injury and illness cases; monitor and reduce injury rates.Lead governance and compliance with local regulations and company requirements.Develop audit and inspection programs; ensure timely resolution of findings.Manage environmental protection programs, including permits for air emissions, hazardous waste, and wastewater.Drive sustainability initiatives and support local projects.Stay current on EHS regulations and technical issues, issuing relevant information for compliance and risk minimization.Ensure the integrity of all EHS data and reports.Contribute to global initiatives and lead specific EHS projects.The PersonUniversity graduate with EHS or technical background.In-depth EHS experience in manufacturing or field services operations.Knowledge of local EHS legislation.Fluent in oral and written English; French is a plus.Strong communication and influencing skills.Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other certification programs.Preferred: demonstrated leadership experience.Experience in a matrix organization.If you would like to join a leading global renewable technology company, where your progression opportunities are limited only by your own desire to succeed, you are encouraged to make your application without delay.NO VISA SPONSORSHIPSamuel PattersonRecruitment Consultant - Executive SearchHunter Philips Global Executive SearchMobile: +447435997322Email: #####: www.hunterphilips.com
