Senior Environmental Consultant

Up to £45k DOE Growing Technical Environment Consultancy Our client, an established and growing environment consultancy with a 25-year track record is seeking a Senior Consultant to join their permitting team based close to Exmoor in Somerset. Main responsibilities include: Support existing clients with Environmental Permit requirements Negotiate variations to existing permits Advising as appropriate to regulator requests (e.g. following a Complaint Assessment Report (CAR)) Provide practical operational advice and operational support (including acting as Technically Competent Manager (TCM) in some circumstances) Skills & qualifications requirements: Currently working in the environmental management, waste or renewable energy sector for either a consultancy, or regulator such as the Environment Agency, Local Authority or Natural England.
