Senior Events Marketing Manager – International B2B Conferences & AwardsThis role is hybrid, with c2 days per week in the Central London office (typically Monday and Thursday, or more days if you prefer).NB - you must have 3+ years of B2B Events Marketing experience to be considered for this roleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader in B2B publishing and conferences as a Senior Events Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns for a high-value global portfolio of international Conferences & Award, within the Global Energy & Infrastructure sector.There will also be opportunities to travel to these events in the US, Middle East & Europe (c2-3 times per year on average).Requirements:Ideally 3+ years of B2B Events marketing experience, preferable with experience in conferences and awardsDemonstrates effective collaboration with other brands/teams and embraces new ideas, systems, projects or processesClient facing and a strong communicatorTrack record of successfully designing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaignsExperience using some of Marketo, Salesforce, Sprinkler, LinkedIn, CVent, CMS systems, Canva, basic Photoshop, HTML creationWorking knowledge of Excel and Google AnalyticsCopywriting and content editing experienceExperience in the commercialization of events including launch eventsAbility to work closely with sales and align marketing strategy to commercial objectivesThorough knowledge of customer analytics and ability to convert data into meaningful insightExperience managing and developing high-performing marketing plans/projects. With complete post event/project reporting.Willingness to develop knowledge both within the marketing discipline and the industries we serveA proven record of testing, measuring and evaluating marketing channels to optimise spend and demonstrate ROIReporting to the Event Director, your responsibilities will be to:Execute and deliver effective marketing campaigns for Awards and Events products, with a focus on digital channels such as social media and email marketingManage and control the marketing budget for each event campaignOversee the creation of high-quality brand and campaign assets, working with in-house and external designersBuild and manage databases, ensuring to keep data up to date, targeted and relevant for every event campaignDesign and execute sophisticated content marketing campaigns that promote brand awareness that strengthen client relationshipsManage a telesales campaign to ensure that delegate revenue targets are metCreate weekly marketing reports and delegate revenue forecasting reportsWork closely with sales and align marketing strategy to commercial objectivesLiaise with the event operations team to ensure the correct on-site marketing deliverablesWork with customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience on-siteKeep events and awards websites up to date with relevant and accurate event informationThis role would suit someone looking to gain valuable experience within a leading multi-national brand, with excellent opportunities for progressing your career.Whilst we endeavour to respond to all applicants within 14 days, due to volumes received this isn’t always possible.
