The Role:
As a Senior Field Service Engineer, you’ll take the lead on the maintenance, repair, and day-to-day management of commercial biomass heating installations, ensuring they operate efficiently and in line with legislative standards.
You’ll have the chance to travel daily from your home to various sites across the Highlands, delivering top-quality service to our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial heating systems, including pumps, control valves, pressurisation units, and more.
- Quickly transition into the biomass sector with full training provided.
- Diagnose and resolve issues to minimise equipment downtime, using your technical expertise.
- Maintain accurate service records through our cloud-based management system.
- Foster strong client relationships and deliver excellent customer service on-site.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
What our client is looking For:
- Essential: SNVQ (or equivalent) in Commercial Plumbing & Heating or Electrical Installation.
- A valid driver’s license and extensive experience in a related industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and heating principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Experience in commercial heating systems and hands-on work in the field.
Desirable:
- Prior experience in the biomass industry.
- Additional qualifications in heating, plumbing, or electrical disciplines.
- Oil/Gas Servicing certification (OFTEC/Gas Safe Modules).
