Senior Finance Business Partner

White Horse Employment is recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner within a technical consultancy business based in West Berkshire. This business is rapidly expanding and this role is newly created, with a new CEO recently taking the reins.

You will report into both the Finance Director and COO, acting as a direct mouthpiece to the COO to support commercial decision making.

Ideally, you will have a strong technical accounting background having trained in practice, with good grounding in commercial finance too.

The main focus of this role will be:

• Business partnering with sales and operations teams


• Translating financial information to non-finance stakeholders


• Presenting dashboards via PowerBI


• Sales pipeline analysis


• Project accounting


• Revenue recognition


• WIP

In order to succeed in this role, you must have:

• A solid understanding of WIP accounting


• Practice background, having trained at a top 10 firm


• Strong technical accounting experience


• The ability to provide financial information to non-finance stakeholders, most notably the COO


• Come from a professional services background
