About the Role:

We are hiring on behalf of a leading financial institution dedicated to maintaining monetary and financial stability. Our client is seeking a Finance Policy Advisor with extensive experience in the London Market and general insurance sectors for a contract/consultant position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide independent advice and constructive challenge to our client's operations.
- Support policy and supervision teams by leveraging your network and expertise.
- Offer guidance on industry challenges and collaborate on policy development.
- Participate in high-profile firm supervision and decision-making panels.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders.
Essential Criteria:
- Senior executive or board-level experience in the general insurance sector, particularly within the London Market.
- Strategic understanding of market practices such as underwriting, claims, reserving, reinsurance, governance, and risk management.
- Strong familiarity with prudential supervision and risk management frameworks.
- Commitment to regulatory objectives.
Desirable Criteria:
- Board-level leadership experience in regulated firms or equivalent roles.
- Ability to provide practical solutions to complex regulatory issues.
