Title: Senior Fire Alarm Engineer

The Company:

My client is a small sized Fire alarm company operating in the North East of England with coverage nationwide. Due to expansion and demand for new work, they are after a Senior Fire Alarm Engineer who is also capable to mentor the junior members of staff.

Package:

• Up to £39,500 basic
• Overtime available
• No Call Out
• Bonus Scheme
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays
• Travel paid after 30mins each way at the beginning and the end of the day
• Overtime paid at time and a half

Main Responsibilities:

• Install, Service, Commissioning, Fault finding and Maintenance of Fire alarms
• Reporting to your Field Line Manager
• Nationwide coverage
• Completing all paperwork accurately and on time 
• On average you will spend 3 nights away
• Taking responsibility of your work load, stock and vehicle
• Mentoring the Junior Engineers when needed
• Working on commercial buildings

Knowledge and experience:

• 3+ years working with Fire and Security Systems
• 18th or 17th edition is advantageous
• Knowledge of British Standards and Health and Safety
• Full UK Driving License
• CSCS or ECS card desirable not essential
• Manufacturer training desirable not essential
• Can pass Security Screening
