Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge with one of the UK’s leading Food Manufacturer?Not many people know that Morrisons (Myton Food Group), along with being a top retailer, has a significant manufacturing capability with 18 sites producing a wide range of products.This unique setup has opened up a fantastic opportunity for us to sell our high quality products across the food industry, and we need a dynamic New Business Senior Business Development Manager to lead the way targeting customers Food service (Pub Groups and Casual Dining).What You’ll Do:Drive New Business Development - With a primary focus on Foodservice and B2B Food Manufacturers, you’ll spearhead initiatives to sell our products, with a strong emphasis on pub chains, casual dining, and FTG ChannelsLeverage our Manufacturing Portfolio - Utilise our extensive range of Food Manufacturing capabilities to drive commodity sales and build supply across your ChannelsStrategic Customer Engagement - Develop strong relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs and how our products can meet themCollaborate with Cross-Functional Teams - Work closely with NPD, Technical, and Operational Teams to drive new business and develop ranges to fulfil briefs from a wide range of target customers across Foodservice Contribute to Business Planning - Play a crucial role in shaping the medium to long-term plans for our new business Channel, ensuring alignment with our growth aspirationsWhat We’re Looking For:Proven New Business Ability - Strong and proven experience within a Chilled Food setting, supplying into Foodservice ChannelsExtensive Sales Experience - Significant experience selling into the Foodservice sector, particularly with pub chains, casual dining businesses, and contract cateringFood Manufacturing Expertise: Additional experience working closely with large Food Manufacturing customers across Fresh CategoriesExcellent Communication Skills - Strong relationship building skills and the ability to engage strategically with customersStrategic Thinking - Ability to contribute to long-term business planningPassion for Food - A keen understanding of both the Foodservice and B2B Food Manufacturing marketsWhy Join UsThis is a wonderful opportunity to make a real impact in a newly created role.
