Our client, a UK Bank with a Social purpose, is seeking to appoint a Senior FP&A Analyst to lead the Financial Planning, Analysis and Modelling activities for a Bank going through a period of change.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and supporting Head of Treasury, you will be responsible for managing the Bank’s monthly reporting, analysis and forecasting activities. This will include managing and building a multi-year financial forecasting excel model and being the bank’s expert on the detail with Cost and Revenue forecasting. You will ensure that monthly reporting and analysis meets the required timeframes, working with key stakeholders to verify inputs and identify and resolving any issues as they arise.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with extensive experience in monthly reporting, planning, and forecasting. You will have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with extensive knowledge in building forecasting models, including understanding outputs, identifying trends and presenting necessary information to the ExCo and Board. You must have an eye for detail, strong analytical skills as well as a flexible, positive and collaborative attitude.
