The company is an established giant in the defense and intelligence US market and they're now building a team in the UK to colloborate on a mission critical project.The project you will be working on utilizes AI and pattern analysis technologies to digest and analyze vast amounts of data in real-time and identify potential prohibited items in carry-on baggage, checked baggage, airline cargo and shipments. The AI-based solution is built to Open Architecture standards and is interoperable with hardware and equipment in a “plug and play” manner, allowing security operations to be transformed quickly through advanced software.You’ll be an expert in the Microsoft ecosystem and will be working on systems with predictive analytics capabilities in highly complex, distributed, mission-based operating environments.This role will be primarily home based/remote working however occasional travel to UK based sites (London/Scotland) and worldwide sites (Australia/Boston) will be required for this role.The ideal skillset of the Senior Software Engineer:Strong commercial experience working C#.NETProven experience working with JavaScript/Typescript alongside ReactStrong knowledge of AWS, and building CI/CD pipelinesExperience working with TerraformKnowledge of the following technologies would be a bonus although NOT required:F#, C++, Kafka, RabbitMQ, 3D Libaries such as Three.jsWhy this role won’t be suitableYou don’t enjoy working in a small team/ autonomous environmentYou are looking for a more managerial based role.
