I am working with a Bristol-based client who is looking for a senior developer to join their team.

This is an on-site role, that will require working in the Bristol office 5 days per week.

You will be helping to design and develop new products, as well as the maintenance of existing software.

You will be looking after a team of 5 developers, mentoring them and supporting where needed.

This is an Agile environment.

You will be working across the full stack, with a JavaScript frontend, and C# backend, working with React, jQuery, HTML, CSS ASP.Net MVC, C#, .Net Core, MySQL.

Responsibilities:

Mentor and guidance of more junior team members.

Working on architecture, design and development across new and existing projects.

Developing clean, maintainable and scalable code for Web, Mobile and Desktop applications built on AWS Cloud Infrastructure.

Help with the design of UI, Database Models and architecture.

Code Reviews, fostering continuous improvement throughout the team.

Meeting functional and technical requirements and taking ownership of the projects that you are involved with - throughout the entire lifecycle.

Experience / Requirements:

Leadership skills

C#, .Net

.Net Core

HTML, CSS, JavaScript

UX design

SQL (MySQL)

SOLID principles, OOP, Object Oriented analysis, Object Oriented Design

Software Development Principles- methodologies, architectural patterns, design patterns

Unit Testing

API Integration

Website production - accessible, standard compliant, and performant design

Senior experience - with circa 8 years' experience ideally

Desirable Experience:

AWS / Azure experience if not AWS

Microservices architecture

REST API's

DevOps principles - CI/CD and associated tools

Frontend frameworks such as Angular or React

Git / GitHub

Mongo or NOSQL equivalent

Jira
