With over 100 years in business as a group and serving a global market, this site is also the largest lead producer in Europe. Based at their site near Dartford, this person will work alongside the established Health and Safety team and operational teams within the business to maintain a safe working environment and promote a positive HSE culture. Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety, the Senior Health and Safety Advisor will help in developing and implementing an effective HSE management system and drive continuous improvement.

The Senior Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
Applying and developing HSE management systems, legislation and best practice.
Supporting the Head of Health and Safety in maintaining IMS documentation and systems.
Implementing Health and Safety strategy in accordance with company and site standards.
Carrying out internal audits to ensure work is carried out in line with policies and procedures.
Acting as point of contact for accreditations including ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 5001.
