Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a specialist global manufacturer to recruit a Senior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor. This role offers the opportunity to drive HSE standards at a key manufacturing and assembly site in Northampton, becoming part of an organisation with a vast global footprint.

Responsibilities of the Senior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will include:

• Promoting a positive health and safety culture across the site, supporting staff at all levels with practical advice
• Engaging across the site to drive improvements in quality, safety, health and environment
• Auditing health, safety and environmental performance, accurately reporting and investigating incidents and near misses
• Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies

The successful Senior Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will have:

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing site or heavy industry
• NEBOSH General certification or equivalent
• Great communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues at all levels
• Drive for leading on new initiatives and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop Health, Safety and Environment performance
