A Dorset-based Local Authority is looking for a Senior Housing Options Officer to join their team on an initial 8-week contract, with the potential to extend beyond the financial year.
This is a team leadership role that requires experience managing a team of Housing Options Officers within a Local Authority setting.
The Council has separate homelessness services for prevention and relief, and you will be leading a team of around five officers on the Relief team. Experience specifically in relief work is highly desirable.
This position offers hybrid working, requiring just one office day per week, with a competitive rate of around �34 per hour. While in the office, you will take part in meetings focused on reducing reliance on Temporary Accommodation across the service.
Any previous experience or a proven track record in reducing TA numbers will be highly valued.
