We are proud to be partnering with a charity based in
North West London
, who are looking to appoint a
Senior HR Advisor on a 12-month FTC
.
This will be a full-time position based principally in North West London as well as involving travel to other sites (Essex, Middlesex, Hertfordshire).
This role includes hybrid working (2 days home working) and a salary of
£39,000 to £42,000 per annum
.
The ideal candidate will have effective knowledge of employment legislation and its application
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Establishing positive working relationships with HR colleagues in the wider team and demonstrating an understanding of the organisation’s vision and values
Providing advice and support to managers on all aspects of employee relations including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance issues and be responsible for efficient outcomes to close ER cases within a specified time frame
Supporting employees and managers on terms and conditions of service, employment policies and procedures
Designing templates and bespoke letters for managers to use when dealing with conflicts
Undertaking absence management and exit leaving projects
Offering any advice on any proposed re-organisation structures, helping deliver and mitigating risk
Taking notes at meetings including investigations, hearings and appeal
Experience required:
Working within a multi-site, unionised environment
Experience of managing a varied complex caseload including sickness absence, disciplinary, grievances, workforce investigations, appeals and cases
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Up-to-date knowledge and application of employment laws
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Working hours:
36.42 hours a week (Apr - Oct, Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm & Oct - Mar, Monday - Thursday 9am - 5.30pm, Friday 2pm finish)
Hybrid working (2 days work from home)
